Frequently Asked Questions

Your Questions Answered

What can I expect from counselling?

Counselling is a confidential and safe space for you to talk without fear of judgement.
You will need to attend an Initial assessment before attending regular sessions. Each session is 50 minutes and we will meet weekly.  Fees need to be paid 24hrs in advance of your session via bank transfer.  I do ask for 48hrs notice for any cancellations

How long can I have counselling for?

As long as you need!  I often recommend at least 12 sessions as this gives you opportunity for you to explore a single issue at greater depth.
Throughout your counselling journey we will have pause points where we will review and see how far you've come and where you're wanting to continue working. This will give you time to consider how many sessions you feel you might need.

What are your fees?

Counselling Initial Assessment £45
Counselling Session £50
Wellbeing Coaching  £70
Group Facilitation and Training (To be discussed on booking)

What's the difference between the wellbeing session and counselling?

Wellbeing coaching is a stand alone session that is 90 minutes long. You can have these either monthly, termly or yearly. In these sessions we will focus on thinking and behaviours.  It also has a more directive approach providing practical tools and guidance.

Counselling is a series of 50 minute sessions on a weekly basis. In these sessions we explore the beliefs and emotions behind our behaviours and responses.

How do I book a counselling or wellbeing session?

You can book any of the sessions by contacting me via email or text:
